Mark McCarthy is an Operating Principal at Accel-KKR, providing strategic go-to-market guidance across Accel-KKR’s portfolio. Prior to joining Accel-KKR, Mark was a Senior Vice President at Coupa Software. Over the course of his 6.5 years with Coupa, Mark launched, built and led significant sales organizations across EMEA and North America.
Mark has over 25 years of experience leading sales, marketing and alliance organizations in B2B enterprise software and SaaS companies. Prior to joining Coupa, Mark was with Ariba, Inc. (acquired by SAP) where he led sales in northern Europe before running Cloud sales as a member of a member of SAP UK’s executive committee. Early in his career, Mark was a co-founder of Proactis Group where he led global sales and marketing following the company’s IPO on the London Stock Exchange.
Now based in New York, Mark is originally from the United Kingdom where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Marketing & Business Studies from Leeds Business School.
