Ektron Closes Growth Equity Investment Led by Accel‐KKR

Growth Equity Investment Will Support Company’s Continued Innovation in the Online Marketing and Web Content and Experience Management Marketplace

NASHUA, NH – April 10, 2014 – Content management and web experience management software provider Ektron today announced it closed a growth equity funding round led by Accel‐KKR. “We’re entering a new era where businesses and people experience content across the web and mobile devices in entirely new ways,” said Ektron President, Tim McKinnon. “Ektron is at the forefront of helping to power these new experiences for the world’s leading organizations. Accel‐ KKR’s investment is a testament to our success and the future growth opportunity our continued focus on innovation will bring to the market.”

“Over the past several years, websites have emerged as the organization’s inbound marketing hub,” said Bill Rogers, Ektron CEO and founder. “This is driving the need for a new approach to CMS – one that supports a more responsive and dynamic customer‐centric web and mobile world. Ektron has led the way in making it simpler for companies to introduce these latest web experience management features into their websites.”
