Industry Leader Sage Nonprofit Solutions Becomes Abila

Company Poised to Accelerate Growth Following Acquisition

Austin, Texas, July 15, 2013 – Sage Nonprofit Solutions is now Abila, a company dedicated to serving dynamic nonprofit organizations and government agencies through high-value solutions that simplify and streamline processes.

Acquired in March by Silicon Valley-based private equity firm Accel-KKR from Sage Group PLC, the Austin-based company is unveiling a new brand identity and vision including significant new investment in its technology, professional team and marketing initiatives.

“Our new name, our refreshed mission and direction is all about fueling our future and growth. We have an incredible foundation from which to build from,” said Krista Endsley, CEO, Abila. “With Accel-KKR’s backing, and a new independence, we have the opportunity to drive innovation, customer engagement and communications— elevating and extending who we are as a company.”

As part of the forward momentum following the acquisition, Abila is on track to increase its Austinbased workforce by 20 percent in 2013 to a total of 150 employees. Key positions added thus far include new executive leadership in marketing, finance and IT. With the acquisition, Endsley was named CEO following four years as the senior vice president and general manager of Sage Nonprofit Solutions.

With the rebranding, the company has developed a new logo, website and corporate identity. Abila has also redefined its product roadmap and enhanced a number of marketing initiatives to better showcase its experience and insight into nonprofit organizations and government agencies.
