Jason Klein is a Senior Advisor at Accel-KKR.  He was previously a Managing Director at Accel-KKR and joined the firm during its inaugural fund.

Prior to joining Accel­-KKR, Jason worked at Goldman, Sachs & Co. in investment banking in both the Technology, Media & Telecom group and the Merger Department. Jason previously worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers Securities, the investment banking subsidiary of PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he advised mid-market companies on mergers and acquisitions, capital raising and buyout transactions. Earlier in his career, Jason worked in the Financial Advisory Services practice at Cooper & Lybrand. He has also spent time auditing companies at both Coopers & Lybrand and Arthur Andersen.

Jason’s current board seats include: imed, Paymentus (NYSE: PAY), Smart Communications, SugarCRM and Vitu.

Jason’s former selected directorships include:  Episerver (sold to Insight Venture Partners for $1.16 billion), HighJump Software (sold to Körber AG for $750 million), Infinisource Benefit Services, Integrichain (sold to Nordic Capital), IntrinsiQ (sold to AmerisourceBergen Corporation ­ NYSE: ABC), isolved,  iTradeNetwork (sold to Roper Industries NYSE: ROP for $525 million), JAGGAER (sold to Cinven for $1.6 billion), KANA Software (sold to Verint Systems – NASDAQ: VRNT for $514 million), Kerridge Commercial Systems Saber (sold to CapVest for $1.1 billion), TEAM Software (sold to WorkWave for $330 million), TrueCommerce (sold to Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe for $800 million), and Vyne (sold to The Jordan Company for $210 million) and board observer of Model N (NYSE: MODN) until its initial public offering.

Jason received his M.B.A. from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania in Finance and Strategic Management where he graduated as a Palmer Scholar and was awarded the Ford Fellowship (first­-year Co-­Valedictorian). He received a B.S. with Highest Distinction in Finance and Accounting and a minor in Speech Communications from the Pennsylvania State University.

Jason is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA, inactive) and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
